What tours do you offer?
Private day tours, layover city tours, countryside excursions, bespoke itineraries and select cross‑border trips (e.g., Bruges).
What tours do you offer?
Book via the website booking form or Request a Quote. We confirm availability and send a secure payment link. On‑day extras can usually be paid by card or cash.
3. How long are the tours?
Full‑day tours are typically ~8 hours. Layover tours are 3 hours. Exact start/finish times are shown on each tour page.
Can I customise the itinerary?
Yes. Tell us your interests, preferred pace, mobility needs and must‑see items; we’ll design a tailored route and schedule.
Are tours private or shared?
Tours are private by default for your group. Shared/group options can be arranged on request.
6. What is included in the tour price?
Private driver/guide, vehicle, fuel, bottled water, agreed itinerary, parking (where applicable) and all taxes. Any included attraction tickets are stated on the tour page.
Are attraction tickets included?
Only when explicitly stated. If not included, we can pre‑purchase tickets for an additional fee or you can buy on site. Pre‑booking is recommended for popular sites (Van Gogh House, Anne Frank House).
8. Do you pick up anywhere in Amsterdam?
Yes, we pick up anywhere within the standard Amsterdam zone and surrounding areas: hotels, ports, apartments, train stations, or private addresses.
9. Do you pick up from Schiphol Airport or Amsterdam city center?
We pick up from both Schiphol and any Amsterdam city location. If the pickup point is outside our standard zone, an extra fee applies.
10. Is pickup from ports (e.g., cruise terminals) included?
Yes , port pickups within the standard Amsterdam zone are included. For ports outside the zone we’ll advise any extra charge.
11. What if my pickup location is outside Amsterdam city or the standard zone?
No problem, pickups outside the standard zone are possible but may incur an extra surcharge. Please provide the exact address at booking for a quote.
12. How do I find out the extra cost for a non standard pickup?
Send the full pickup address when you request a booking. We’ll calculate and confirm any additional fee.
13. How will the driver find me at large locations (airport, port, station)?
We’ll provide meeting point details in your booking confirmation and the driver’s contact number so you can coordinate on arrival.
14. Can I change the pickup location after booking?
Yes, changes are possible but must be confirmed. If the new location is outside the standard zone, additional charges may apply.
15. Can I extend the tour during the day?
Usually yes, subject to driver availability. Typical rate: €85 per extra hour. We confirm cost before adding time.
16. What vehicles do you use?
Premium sedans and Mercedes V‑class/minivans suitable for luggage and small groups. Vehicle assigned depends on group size and luggage.
17. How many passengers fit per vehicle?
Sedans: 1–3 passengers.
V‑class/minivans: up to 7–8 passengers.
For larger groups we provide multiple vehicles or a Mercedes Sprinter
(up to 22 passengers) on request.
18. What about luggage on day tours?
Vehicles have space for standard luggage. For oversized items or many bags, notify us at booking so we can assign an appropriate vehicle.
19. Do guides speak other languages?
Guides commonly speak English and Dutch. Other languages can be requested at booking; we’ll match if possible (may affect price).
20. Are meals included?
Meals are not included. We recommend restaurants and can make reservations on request; meal costs are extra.
21. What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes, weather‑appropriate clothing, booking confirmation, valid ID/passport for cross border transfers and tours, and any required visas or medications.
22. What happens in bad weather?
Tours operate in most weather. We adapt itineraries (more indoor visits). For severe conditions we offer alternatives, rescheduling or refunds according to booking terms.
23. Is travel/medical insurance required?
Not mandatory, but strongly recommended. Insurance for cancellations, medical emergencies and lost/stolen items is the traveller’s responsibility.
24. Do you offer cross‑border tours?
Yes , we run private tours across Europe (e.g., Bruges). Bring your passport for border crossings.
25. Are guides and vehicles vetted for safety and licensing?
Yes. Drivers are professionally licensed, vehicles insured and regularly maintained. Guides are experienced and follow local safety regulations.
26. Can I request photography stops or private photo sessions?
Yes. Scenic/photo stops are included. For a dedicated photo session we can arrange extra time or recommend local photographers.
27. How far in advance should I book?
Book as early as possible, especially for peak seasons (tulip season and summer) and popular dates to secure guides and attraction tickets.
